- Yes. Pitch (semitones) and tempo (speed) are independent. Set tempo to 1.0× and adjust semitones to transpose without changing speed.
- How many semitones can I shift?
- Up to ±12 semitones (one octave). Extreme shifts can introduce artifacts — small shifts (±2 to ±5) sound the most natural.
- What is BPM changing?
- Change the tempo slider (e.g. 0.5× for half-speed, 2.0× for double-speed) to alter BPM without affecting pitch. Useful for practicing instruments or transcribing.
