Album & Batch Consistency Analyzer
Find technical mismatches and set-relative loudness, dynamic-range, and bandwidth outliers across an album or collection.
What this tool tells you
What it does
Use this when you want to check a whole album or release for consistency: format mismatches and loudness, dynamic-range, or bandwidth outliers relative to the rest of the set.
How to use it
Drop multiple files or a folder, then review the table and outlier charts. Adjust the outlier threshold to match how strict you want the comparison to be.
How to interpret it
Outliers are relative to the other tracks in this set, not an absolute quality judgment — a track can be a legitimate outlier by intent, such as an interlude or bonus track. For a single file in depth, use the Mastering / Technical Audio Check instead.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What counts as an outlier?
- A track whose loudness, DR estimate, or bandwidth differs from the set’s median by more than your chosen threshold. Thresholds are adjustable because there is no single correct tolerance for every release.
- Does this check one file or a whole album?
- A whole set: drop multiple files (or a folder) and it compares them against each other for format mismatches and relative loudness, dynamic-range, and bandwidth outliers. For a deep single-file check, use the Mastering / Technical Audio Check.
