DAC & Headphone Test Suite

Check your DAC and headphone playback chain with left/right, in-phase polarity, low-level, and rising-level test tones.

What this tool tells you

What it does

Use this browser-based DAC and headphone playback checker to listen to known test signals: left/right tones, an in-phase polarity tone, a quiet 1 kHz tone, and a rising-level 1 kHz tone. Signals are generated locally in your browser.

How to use it

Start with a low playback volume and run one check at a time. Confirm left then right playback, listen for the centered in-phase tone, and compare the quiet tone and rising-level tone without turning the volume up to chase the quiet signal.

How to interpret it

These are listening checks of the playback chain, not hardware calibration, a measured frequency response or dynamic range, or bit-perfect validation. Completion indicators confirm signal playback, not a measured hardware pass. Audibility depends on volume, ambient noise, hearing, headphones or speakers, and browser or system processing.

Selected files are processed locally in the browser and are not uploaded to TrueRes for processing. Open this page in a modern browser to use the interactive tool.
