Tune guitar, bass, ukulele, violin, voice or any instrument in real time with a chromatic note readout and cents meter.

What this tool tells you

What it does

Use this to tune an instrument or check vocal pitch live from a microphone or audio interface.

How to use it

Start the tuner, pick your reference pitch, and play one sustained note at a time. The needle centres and turns green within ±5 cents.

How to interpret it

Pitch is detected with the YIN method. Chords, heavy distortion and noisy rooms make detection unstable; play single notes close to the microphone.

Frequently Asked Questions

How accurate is the tuner?
On clean single notes it resolves well under one cent. Accuracy drops with chords, distortion or room noise.
Can I tune to 432 Hz?
Yes. Choose the reference A4 from 432 to 444 Hz before or while tuning.
Is my audio recorded?
No. The tuner only analyses the live signal in your browser; nothing is saved or uploaded.
