Frequently Asked Questions

How long can I safely listen?
At 85 dB SPL, WHO recommends a maximum of 8 hours. For every 3 dB increase, safe time halves. At 100 dB, the safe limit is only 15 minutes.
How do I know my actual SPL level?
Use a dedicated SPL meter or a calibrated smartphone app. This tool provides estimates based on the level you set — actual SPL depends on your equipment and volume setting.
